Install latest nodejs on a RaspberryPi 3

This will install the NodeJS on raspberry pi 3. This will only work on version3

This is needed to install the sonos bridge.

To make sure you have the RaspberryPi3 run this command:

uname -m

It should return armv7. If not you are using a raspberry 2. Next steps won’t work then.

To install node 8.9.1 do the following:

curl -sL | sudo -E bash –

Then do:

sudo apt install nodejs

To check if everyting is ok type:

node -v
